Hit the Spikes with Electro attacks every now and again to ensure it’s charging at maximum capacity. After a brief chat with Hosseini, you’ll need to return to the surveying points to charge up the Pursina’s Spikes.
To start this phase, you’ll need to have completed the surveying and get the “Autonomous Mechanical Energy Source: Preface” quest. What you’re looking for is the General Purpose Directional Conduction Component. The monument will not be active during the surveying phase.
